HOAC Junior Clubs The Centre runs four clubs to help our younger members continue and progress their sailing whilst having lots of supervised fun and games. The club fees per year are £58 plus annual membership for the following clubs: Laser Club: 13+ years, informal meetings throughout the year Windsurf Club: 8 - 18 years, NSSA Silver+, Thursday evenings 6.00 - 8.30pm, June - August The club fees per year are £68 plus annual membership for the following clubs: Tera Club: 8 - 12 years, NSSA Bronze+, Saturday mornings 10.00 - 1.00pm, April - October Pico Club: 11 - 14 years, Stage 2+, Sunday (times vary), April - September HOAC Adult Windsurf Club This adult club is a new club for windsurfers who wish to sail regularly, meet other windsurfers and develop their skills in an informal and relaxed environment. What is the minimum requiements?To become a member of the Club you should have already attended a RYA Start Windsurfing Course or above. For those new to the sport HOAC offers RYA Start Windsurfing Courses from May to September. Weekly Social Sail....This is an organised club meeting which will take place every Saturday from 29th May to 28th August 2010 (inclusive) from 2pm to 5pm. During these sessions there will be a Club Instructor on hand to provide informal advice, support, coaching and to organise racing & freestyle competitions for those interested. Access to HOAC fully battened rigs is provided on club sessions. How do I join? £110 to join, £80 if already a member of HOAC. Download an application form RYA Sailability Challenger Club This club is for people of all ages with all kinds of disability who wish to sail. They use Challenger trimarans and Access dinghies, which are very stable boats to sail. The club have informal meetings throughout the summer season and complete beginners are welcome. Please contact Alan Bray for more information on 0208 561 0840. Queensmead Sailing Club This is a friendly sailing club based at HOAC with quite a large membership. The fleet of good sailing dinghies are available, free of charge, to QSC members. Off-Base trips are organised to Norfolk, Llangorse, the Solent and Poole Harbour plus Offshore Cruising to France and the Channel Islands with occasional charters in Greece.
