Junior Sculling Introduction – 10.00am – 1.00pm – £105 for 5 half days
11 – 18yrs –Sculling (5 days rowing/sculling)– HSA-O
The course covers the basic sculling strokes to correct sequencing and posture, building confidence and balance. The aim of the course is for the participants to learn to scull and work towards gaining awards.
Those 14 years+ will work towards the British Rowing Stage 1 and 2, those under 14 years will work towards the equivalent HOAC scheme awards.
Once the course has finished for the day, you are welcome to stay on and join in the Adventure Land Based Activity Days for an additional £100, to make a full week experience. (ALO-3)
Adventure Land Based Week – 10.00am – 4.30pm – 1 day £50, 2 days £90, 3 days £140, 4 days £175 and 5 days £200
8 – 10 years – ALO-1 and 11 – 18 years – ALO-2
Test your skills across a lot of different activities, some you may have always wanted to try out and there may be some you have never heard of. Activities include archery, orienteering and pedal karting. Try the challenging low ropes course and enter into the man made caving system. There will be team building challenges, trebuchet building , climbing and abseiling, giant swing and Bushcraft – survival skills.
These are full day sessions running from 10am – 4.30pm, supervision is provided during lunchtime activities.
HOAC will be open and you are welcome to drop off course participants from 8.30am and collect up until 5.30pm if required, at no additional cost.
