Everyone working and volunteering at HOAC are devoted to making a difference to people’s lives whatever their background might be. We all take pride in what we do and work hard to ensure that everyone in your group gets the most out of their visit and reach their potential.
Our office staff are here to help you through the enquiry and booking process. Our instructors and volunteers deliver our fantastic experiences and help the day run smoothly.
Our instructors are qualified and CRB/DBS cleared they are also trained to work with groups of all abilities. Some of the instructors are very experienced in working with special needs groups and hold a variety of awards including: BSL Level 1 and 2, Level 1 and 2 in Managing Challenging Behaviour and RYA/BC Disability Awareness Awards.
All of our instructors and volunteers understand that participants need someone to believe in them and push them a little, while still encouraging and helping them when required.
