During October half term we will be running the BC Paddlesport Instructor Course. This course was formally known as Level 1 Coach. The first day will be an upskilling day where we will work on your canoeing skills and any weak areas. This will be followed by four days of practical sessions on the water and theory sessions ashore, learning coaching techniques and group management skills to give successful candidates everything they need to teach kayaking/canoeing.
Pre-requisites: New BC 2 Star, Foundation Safety and Rescue, BC Membership, Registered for training with the BC in advance (CR Form).
All instructor courses are open to individuals 16 years and over. Please contact the centre to book a place.
