Queensmead Sailing Club

Queensmead Sailing Club is a friendly sailing club located here at HOAC. The club maintains its own fleet of boats for use by its members, these range from Teras, Lasers and Lightnings through to RS Vision, Laser 2000 and Topper Buzz.

The club has organised races each Sunday afternoon throughout the year, with special events run jointly with HOAC on Boxing Day and New Years Day.

The club runs organised trips to Greece, the Solent and the Norfolk Broads, with sailing in some interesting conditions with plenty of rescue boats to assist.

Membership
To become a member of QSC, you need to take out HOAC membership at the same time, prices below are for QSC and HOAC memberships combined. Due to the ongoing disruption to the Centre from HS2 development, the discounted  HOAC membership will be continued for another 2 years.

If you don’t require a HOAC membership (to use the lake) and are looking for just the QSC Associate membership, then please contact the club directly

All members and their guests must sign in (in the Log Cabin) before going on the lake, this also applies to Sunday and Wednesday evening races.

Please note that Summer Membership expires on the 30th September 2020.
