Parties - Due to Covid-19 we are unable to take Birthday Party bookings.

1. Day of Visit

Please make your way to the Log Cabin located at the waterfront, where your Instructor will meet you.  The group leader should bring the completed Group Registration Form giving full names and any medical or special needs information, to the Duty Officer. This form is enclosed with your booking information. It is the sole responsibility of the group leader to ensure that they have a list of emergency contact details for group members.  This information must be assessable at all times during your visit. Your Instructor will then show you to your allocated area for the duration of your visit

2. Medical Conditions/Special Needs

Details of minor medical conditions/special needs (e.g. asthma, allergies, dyslexia etc) of participants must be detailed on the group registration form.  The Centre must be informed of all other medical conditions/special needs, including behavioral issues at the time of booking.

3.  Cancellation

Should you wish to cancel your booking once it has been confirmed you will be charged as follows:

1. 1. Up to eight weeks of start date; 75% of total cost will be refunded.
   2. Within eight weeks of start date; – no refunds, no exceptions.
   3. Refunds are not given on or after the party, when fewer participants attend.  The party prices are set, and there are no exceptions.

4. Booking Amendments

Once the booking has been confirmed it is non-transferable and amendments, if possible, will incur an additional cost.

5. Responsibility

The group leader takes complete responsibility for their group, including safety, behavior and compliance with all terms and conditions. A minimum of 2 adults must remain on site for the full duration of the party.  Responsibility passes to fully qualified HOAC Instructors for the duration of the session.  While the shelter allocated to you for the duration of your visit is for your sole use, it is not secure and the Centre strongly recommends that valuables are not left unattended.  HOAC accepts no responsibility for any lost or stolen property.

6. Insurance

The Centre ‘s insurance covers all legal liabilities of the Centre to clients, but does not cover personal accident or loss where there is no liability on the part of the Centre or its employees.

Clients therefore may wish to consider taking out insurance to cover the risk of personal accident, loss of personal affects, and also the risk of cancellation.

7.   Safety

All water users must be aged eight or above and able to swim 10 meters (NOTE: the “parent in charge” requires parental confirmation of this in writing for all participants under 18) an approved buoyancy aid must be worn at all times when on or near the water or pontoons.  Swimming is NOT allowed unless under the direct supervision of a fully qualified HOAC Member of Staff.  Please note that the consumption of alcohol is prohibited at HOAC.

Clothing suitable to the activity and weather conditions should be worn, a kit list is enclosed.  Footwear must be worn at all time both on and off the water.  The scheduled activity will go ahead regardless of weather conditions.  However, should it be deemed appropriate HOAC reserve the right to substitute the scheduled activity with one more suited to the prevailing conditions.

8.   Publicity

Photographs taken by HOAC staff will only be used for HOAC purposes, and will not be passed on   to third parties

9.  Payment

Payment is due in full, by Credit or Debit Card at time of booking.
